The spike probe has a sharp 'pencil point' end which makes this probe ideal for insertion into soft solids such as meat. The probe sheath is 316 stainless steel to ensure it's easy to clean while remaining tough. Along the sheath is a softer polymer wrap to provide grip and prevents the heat burning any fingers that hold the probe. The measuring range of this sensor is -50°C to 250°C and the grip area and cable can sustain temperatures between -50°C to 120°C. The cable is manufactured from smooth PFA and is terminated in bare tails for quick fitting to your instrumentation.
